Sir Giovalde Silverman was probably the easiest
character for me to write in Suffer the Witch Chronicles. I felt a strong connection
to his loyal character and fighting spirit. A former mayor, murdered in a
political conspiracy, he found his soul trapped inside a cursed paranormal black
armor. He also found himself to be the greatest warrior in the world.
As captain of the undead Raven Knights, Giovalde
and his warriors fight to bring justice to their killers so their souls could
be set free. The problem is that their killers are a coven of evil witches who
killed his master. To complicate matters, the McCracken coven possess their own
shape-shifting warriors, The Red Hawk Knights.
Because of a curse, the Raven Knights cannot
venture into the outside world unless their master is mortal danger…at least
not as knights. Instead they have the ability to shape-shift into ravens, who
fly together as they try to warn the next intended victims of the McCracken Coven.
Enter Gazzy Windstorm, an unassuming young
man, who is granted unbelievable shape-shifting powers after he tries to save a
dying witch. Sir Giovalde and his order are forced to accept Gazzy as their new
master. Now the unemotional general must teach his young, carefree protégé how
to battle their mortal enemies in order to protect the most powerful witch on
Earth, Gazzy’s sister Lori.
